NFL Draft Big Board - Updated 1/30/2009

1. Aaron Curry, OLB, Wake Forest—Punishing tackler with the ability to get sacks and INTs.
2. Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech—Professional receiver who is good in open space.
3. Andre Smith, OT, Alabama
—Surprisingly agile giant, Sugar Bowl fiasco is a concern where his head is.
4. Rey Maualuga, ILB, USC—Rare size and speed combo, even in the NFL.
5. Malcom Jenkins, CB, Ohio State—On-field production paired with great measurables, rare combo.
6. Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia—Big arm, quick release, savvy in the pocket, accurate up the sideline and with a man in his face.
7. Knowshon Moreno, RB, Georgia—Stud SEC running back has coveted pass-catching ability.
8. Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia—Prototype bookend is still developing.
9. James Laurinaitis, ILB, Ohio State—Reads and reacts like a veteran with great toughness and durability.
10. B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College—Stout plug has explosive get-off that allows him to get in the backfield.
11. Brandon Pettigrew, TE, Oklahoma State—Ability to split out in the slot and dominate blocking on the line.
12. Brian Orakpo, LB/DE, Texas—Perfect fit as a disruptor in the 3-4 scheme.
13. Vontae Davis, CB, Illinois—Will have an eye-opening NFL combine with his speed, agility, strength and size.
14. Aaron Maybin, LB/DE, Penn State—Lean and long-armed, the perfect pass-rusher.
15. Mark Sanchez, QB, USC—Extremely polished and determined to win.
16. Jason Smith, OT, Baylor
—Former TE is still refining his already impressive game.
17. Brian Cushing, OLB, USC—Equally strong at stopping the run and pass.
18. Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina—His size and field awareness make the game look easy.
19. Michael Johnson, DE, Georgia Tech—Giant in the college game has tools to make immediate impact at next-level.
20. Jeremy Maclin, WR, Missouri—Will have immediate impact in return game and as a downfield threat.
21. Michael Oher, OT, Mississippi
—Erases defenders in the running game.
22. Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU
—Only run-stop DE (295 LBs) at the top of the draft, likes to get physical.
23. Everette Brown, DE, Florida State
—Has all the makings of an NFL sack artist.
24. D.J. Moore, CB, Vanderbilt
—Corner has knack for the big play.
25. Percy Harvin, WR, Florida—Injuries are the only thing that can stop this TD addict.
26. Larry English, DE/LB, Northern Illinois
—Spent time in a three-point and a two-point but isn't effective in coverage.
27. LeSean McCoy, RB, Pittsburgh—Speed, vision, and catching ability make him a big play threat.
28. Duke Robinson, G, Oklahoma
—Get behind him on third-and-one.
29. Sean Smith, CB, Utah—Safety-sized corner blankets receivers.
30. Chris Wells, RB, Ohio State
—Deceptive burst and punishing blows get him the tough yards.
31. Clay Matthews, OLB, USC—Very smart, makes plays, and has a great pedigree.
32. Peria Jerry, DT, Mississippi—Body is ready to play today.
33. Clint Sintim, LB/DE, Virginia—Spent time in a three-point and a two-point but isn't effective in coverage.
34. Shonn Greene, RB, Iowa—100+ yards rushing in every game this season.
35. Louis Delmas, S, Western Michigan—Appearance doesn't wow but production does.
36. Sen'Derrick Marks, DE/DT, Auburn—Has room to add bulk, could play end in 3-4.
37. Alex Mack, C, California—Outshined Unger head-to-head at Senior Bowl.
38. Josh Freeman, QB, Kansas State—Giant QB will be spectacle through the draft-process.
39. Vic Harris, CB, Virginia Tech—Great size and ball skills, could make the switch to safety.
40. Max Unger, C, Oregon—Former tackle started every game on the line since he was a true freshman.
41. Jarret Dillard, WR, Rice—Vertical leaper had amazing college production.
42. Alphonso Smith, CB, Wake Forest—Undersized but had great production and can play the run.
43. Phil Loadholt, OT, Oklahoma—Biggest tackle in the draft makes him a commodity.
44. Andy Levitre, G, Oregon State—Slightly undersized but very good at pulling.
45. Rashad Johnson, S, Alabama—Closes on passes and ball carriers fast.
46. Joe Burnett, CB, Central Florida—One of the draft's top returners.
47. Ron Brace, DT, Boston College—Raji gets the hype but Brace deserves more credit.
48. Eben Britton, OT, Arizona—The top of the second tier for tackles.
49. Ramses Barden, WR, Cal Poly—Rare size for an NFL receiver.
50. Fili Moala, DT, USC—High-energy athlete could grow into a road block.
51. William Moore, S, Missouri—Good hands with size to impact the run game.
52. Shawn Nelson, TE, Southern Miss—Very athletic H-Back prospect.
53. Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Maryland—Solid combination of speed and size with average hands.
